Dear Team,

It gives me great pleasure to provide you with this latest update on our joint efforts to introduce a uniform certification framework for biometric devices.

The second output of this track, a draft document covering Laboratory Qualification criteria for the assessment of biometric quality under the MACP framework is out for your review comments, and feedback. Please send us an email with your comments or post them in this thread. We will soon commence onboarding the labs provisionally, while we incorporate any feedback or comments.

Dear All,

It gives me great pleasure to provide you with this latest update: we have started accepting applications from biometric labs based on the Lab Qualification Criteria published earlier (for Biometric Quality). A formal notification will follow. Currently, the framework scope is applicable to enrollment devices that meet the SBI 1.0 specification. We will shortly start working together on the FTM certification framework for Auth devices (SBI 2.0).
