Release Announcement: Inji Mobile Wallet v0.21.0 is here!

Dear MOSIP Community,

We’re excited to announce the release of Inji Mobile Wallet v0.21.0, made available on 19th December 2026.

This update significantly strengthens the wallet’s reliability and trust capabilities by introducing revocation support using the W3C Bitstring Status List, improving OpenID4VP interoperability, and refining UI/UX consistency across both Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift).
The release also includes several stability fixes, key verification enhancements, and updated basic UI/UX to ensure a smoother and more secure user experience.

What’s New in v0.21.0

1. Revocation Support for Verifiable Credentials

  • Automatic revocation check during credential download.
  • Manual Check Status option for users to re-validate a credential anytime.
  • Clear status indicators: Valid, Revoked, Pending, with improved activity logs.

2. UI Enhancements & Visual Consistency

  • Improved spacing, alignment, and icon rendering.
  • Updated disclaimers and About page styling.
  • Multiple UI crash fixes across BLE and mDL download screens.

3. Functional Stability & Interoperability Fixes

  • History page refresh logic updated after credential sharing.
  • Correct rendering and validation workflows for OpenID4VP across Android/iOS.
  • Updated handling of transaction_data not supported error.
  • Support added for RSA256 and ES256K public keys for JWK in the VC Verifier library.
