We’re thrilled to announce the release of Inji Mobile Wallet v0.20.0, made available on 22nd October 2025.
This release marks a significant milestone in the evolution of Inji Mobile, introducing IETF SD-JWT OpenID4VP interoperability, SVG-based credential rendering for Data Model 2.0 VCs, and several technical and compliance enhancements across both Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift) platforms.
With these updates, the Inji Wallet now supports selective claim disclosure, trusted verifier configurations, and standards-compliant visual credential templates, strengthening the foundation for scalable, privacy-preserving credential ecosystems.
What’s New in v0.20.0
SD-JWT OpenID4VP Support
- Introduced complete IETF SD-JWT Verifiable Presentation (VP) sharing for Android and iOS.
- Enables selective disclosure of claims while preserving holder privacy.
- Fully compliant with OpenID4VP draft specifications.
- Refer to the library documentation for implementation details and examples.
SVG-Based Credential Rendering
- Integrated SVG template rendering via the inji-vc-renderer library (Kotlin & Swift).
- Allows dynamic, schema-driven visual layouts for credentials currently supported for Data Model 2.0 VCs.
- Ensures consistency and flexibility across issuers and display devices.
OpenIDVP & Verifier Enhancements
- Added signed JWT–based authorization request support for verifiers.
- Enabled dynamic public key resolution via
jwks_uriand trusted verifier metadata. - Configurable support for unsigned requests in mock or pre-registered verifier setups.
- Enhanced verifier trust flow with
did:client-id-schememethod and improved iOS interoperability.
