Failure to scan biometric fingers with exception

Hey, when we set exceptions to fingers for fingerprint scanning, any scans we make regardless of the exceptions bring 2 fingers scanned

And on others it brings the fingers but has a red X on one of them

How could we resolve this issue?

Dear @jeresaf

As I could see you are facing issue to setup exceptions to fingers for fingerprint scanning ,one of our team member from Reg client team will get in touch with you by Monday to help you out with the resolution.

It will easy for us to understand if you share the logs for failure case.

Best Regards,
Team MOSIP.

Hi @jeresaf,

Please share the below details with us to understand the issue better:

What is the regclient version you are using?
What is the mock SBI that you are using to scan the devices?

Also, please share the UI spec.

Himaja Dhanyamraju

Hey,

We are using version 1.2.0.1-B1
We are not using mock sbi, we are using a mantra fingerprint scanner.

Unfortunately I dont seem to be able to share documents here.

Hey @jeresaf

Thanks for sharing the details but can you check the attachment that you shared previously is missing?

Hey,

It seems I cannot attach anything that is not an image unfortunately.

Can you take a screenshot or snapshot of it and share it as an image?

The log has 933 lines and the ui spec when indented in a proper format has 6945 lines so I dont think taking screenshots is possible, already shared a screenshot of the reg-client when it was failing to properly record fingerprints with exceptions on the finger.

@jeresaf Please try to share the ui spec in compressed json format here.
And if you see any exception stacktrace printed in logs, you can just share that part of logs.

Hi @jeresaf

I have opened this ticket again to take forward the discussion and as per the last message I see @HimajaDhanyamraju2 requesting these two things:

  • Please try to share the UI spec in compressed json format here.
  • And if you see any exception stacktrace printed in logs, you can just share that part of logs.

Best Regards,
