Request for MISP License Key for ID Authentication Demo UI (Sandbox Setup)

Hi MOSIP Team,

I am currently working on setting up the ID Authentication Demo UI (authentication-demo-ui v1.2.0) using the MOSIP sandbox environment locally deployed and running successfully with id registration.

So far, I have completed the following steps successfully:

  1. Registered as an Authentication Partner in PMS
  2. Uploaded the CA and Intermediate certificates
  3. Generated the Partner Certificate signed by PMS
  4. Created and mapped the authentication policy (mpolicy-auth-identy) and had it approved by globaladmin
  5. Generated the Partner API Key

However, I am unable to locate or obtain the MISP License Key required for running the authentication demo UI.

Could you please assist me with the following:

  1. What is the correct MISP License Key to use for the sandbox environment ?
  2. Is the MISP License Key generated automatically , or is there a specific process to generate or retrieve it?

Your guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Best regards,
Gaprin

Hi @Gaprin_Rooth_J
hope you are well,

MISP license key is the individual string of digits that is unique to the MISP-Partner .
So you have to generate a MISP partner and then generate a MISP license key

Hello @Gaprin_Rooth_J
Here is a documentation of the process to help you with MISP related activities.

Hello @Mahesh-Binayak ,

Thank you for sharing the documentation.

I have reviewed it, but I’m facing the following issue in my setup:

  1. In the PMS Portal , there is no direct option to create/add a MISP Partner from the admin side.
  2. The ‘partnerType’ dropdown during self-registration does not include ‘MISP Partner’ as an option.

Due to this, I am attempting to use the self-registration flow instead. However, since MISP Partner type is not listed, I am unable to complete the onboarding.

Could you please advise:

  • Is MISP Partner registration only possible via self-registration?
  • How can the MISP Partner type be enabled in our setup?

Thank You

hello @Gaprin_Rooth_J
I understand. In that case I would suffest you follow below steps

  1. authenticate
  2. Create a policy group
  3. Create a MISP Policy
    4.Publish the above.
  4. Self Register as a MISP partner
  5. Upload CA and Client Certificate to keymanager
  6. Map Your partner and your policy
  7. Generate your MISP partner
The details of all these requests would be available on swagger or stoplight urls.

Thanks and Regards

Mahesh
