Integrating ocr with mosip

I have a question regarding the “Integrate with MOSIP” bonus task.

The problem statement mentions a strict “No Cloud Services” constraint. However, the MOSIP Public Sandbox is listed as a resource. Could you please clarify if the “No Cloud Services” rule applies to the MOSIP backend integration?

Specifically:

  1. Are we permitted to connect our local OCR application to the Public Sandbox APIs for the integration step?

  2. Or, does this rule require us to deploy the full MOSIP stack locally (e.g., via Docker) to handle the integration entirely offline?

There is no need to integrate with MOSIP backend services for this task. Like I explained today, it is sufficient to show your output using the pre registration portal that can be installed and run locally.

Please ignore cloud services mentioned.
