I’m developing an OCR-based pre-registration application that automatically
extracts data from identity documents and creates MOSIP pre-registration
applications, significantly reducing manual data entry and improving accuracy.

Project Overview:

  • Application extracts text from documents using OCR (PaddleOCR/TrOCR)
  • Maps extracted fields to MOSIP ID schema automatically
  • Creates properly formatted MOSIP pre-registration packets
  • Current Status: Complete and tested in mock mode

  • Technology: Python, FastAPI, OCR libraries
  • Functionality: Field mapping, data validation, packet creation

Current Need:
The application is fully functional in mock/simulation mode. To validate
the real integration and prepare for production deployment, I need access
to a MOSIP sandbox/test environment.

Could you please provide:

  1. Sandbox Pre-Registration API base URL
  2. Client ID for OAuth2 authentication
  3. Client Secret for OAuth2 authentication
  4. Pre-Registration API documentation (if available beyond public docs)
  5. Any rate limits or usage guidelines for sandbox

Project Timeline:

  • Testing Phase: Immediate (upon receiving credentials)
  • Expected Production: Within 2-4 weeks
  • Estimated Usage: ~100-500 requests/day for testing
