Guidance Needed: Obtaining Production Certificates for OpenCRVS–MOSIP Integration

Dear Team,

Hello MOSIP Community,

We are currently working on integrating OpenCRVS with MOSIP by following the official deployment guide:

While we have successfully tested the integration using the MOSIP mock and collab environments, we are now preparing for a production deployment. At this stage, we are blocked due to missing production credentials and certificates required by the MOSIP services.

Specifically, we would appreciate guidance on how to obtain or generate the following for a production environment:

  1. keystore.p12

    • Used by OpenCRVS MOSIP middleware for secure communication

    • Clarification needed on whether this should be self-generated or issued by MOSIP

  2. ida-partner.crt

    • Required for integration with the MOSIP ID Authentication (IDA) service

    • Details needed on the partner onboarding and certificate issuance process

  3. esignet-jwk.txt

    • Required for eSignet integration (JWT verification)

    • Guidance on how this JWK is generated or shared for production

Could you please clarify:

  • The official process for partner onboarding to obtain these credentials

  • Whether these artifacts are issued by MOSIP, generated by the partner, or exchanged during onboarding

  • Any documentation or checklist specific to production readiness for OpenCRVS integrations

Your guidance will help us proceed with a secure and compliant production deployment.

Thank you for your support.

Best regards,
Ahamed Asif
