Dear Community Members,
We are excited to announce the release of MOSIP’s updated Claim 169 specification, version 1.1.0, now officially approved by the IANA! As a result of an extensive community engagement and feedback process, the revised version brings in enhancements to the biometrics attributes in specific. This milestone reflects our ongoing commitment to making digital identities accessible, secure, and interoperable for everyone.
For those unfamiliar with Claim 169, it is a standardized QR code that enables secure facial authentication, especially benefiting residents in remote areas with limited connectivity. This update is a significant step toward ensuring reliable access to essential services and social benefits.
