Urgent Downtime Announcement - MOSIP Collab Environment

Dear MOSIP Community Members,

We hope this message finds you well. We want to inform you about a necessary downtime for our Collab environment to perform important updates to our E-Signet services. During this downtime, we will be deploying essential support files and making critical changes, as detailed below:

Downtime Schedule: 17th October, 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM IST

Reason for Downtime:

We need to deploy support files in the “.well-known” context of the environment domain. This deployment is similar to what we’ve done for the credential service. Specifically, we will be performing the following actions:

  1. File Deployment: We will add the following three files in the “mosip-config” repository under the “develop-v3” branch for the “dev1” environment:
  • ida-controller.json
  • mosip-ida-context.json
  • vccontext-ida.jsonld
  1. Repository Changes: All the files mentioned above will be moved to the deployment environment’s “mosip-config” branch.

  2. Database Changes: Necessary changes will be made in the “mosip_ida” and “mosip_esignet” databases. Scripts will be executed based on the current version running in the Collab env.

  3. Artifactory Server: We will redeploy “mosipqa/artifactory-server:1.2.0.1”.

  4. E-Signet Services: We will redeploy the following E-Signet services:

  • mosipqa/esignet:1.2.x
  • mosipqa/oidc-ui:1.2.x
  1. Authentication Services: We will redeploy the following authentication services:
  • mosipqa/authentication-service:1.2.0.1
  • mosipqa/authentication-internal-service:1.2.0.1
  • mosipqa/authentication-otp-service:1.2.0.1
  1. Key Generation: We will run the “id-auth-keygen” job to create a new key for “appId: IDA_VCI_EXCHANGE.”

  2. Istio Provisioning: Provisioning will be performed for Istio virtual services for the “vc-exchange” endpoint.

Impact on Collab Env:

We understand the importance of these updates and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by this downtime. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to enhance our services.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding this maintenance, please feel free to reach out to our support team. Your understanding and support are greatly valued.

Thank you for being a part of the MOSIP community.

Warm regards,
MOSIP Community Team.
