Release Announcement : Inji Web Wallet v0.12.0 is here!

Dear MOSIP Community,

We are thrilled to announce the release of Inji Web v0.12.0, a developer-focused update packed with powerful enhancements to improve user experience, localization, and integration capabilities. This version introduces dynamic authorization discovery, multilingual support for credential downloads, and a revamped PDF layout โ€” all while addressing key bugs from previous versions.

:rocket: Whatโ€™s New in Inji Web 0.12.0?

:locked_with_key: Dynamic Authorization Endpoint Discovery

  • Inji Web now supports dynamic retrieval of authorization_endpoint from the .well-known configuration of the Auth server, improving flexibility and standards alignment.
  • Backend caching via Mimoto helps avoid CORS issues and optimizes performance.
  • A new endpoint /issuers/{issuer-id}/configuration has been introduced.
  • :warning: Deprecated: /issuers/{issuer-id}/well-known-proxy โ€“ slated for removal in the next release.

:page_facing_up: Revamped Credential PDF Template

  • Enhanced design for National ID and TAN ID credentials with improved readability, branding, and QR placement.
  • Built with HTML for cross-platform consistency.
  • Fully backward-compatible with v1.1 Verifiable Credential (VC) format.

:globe_with_meridians: Multi-Lingual Credential Support

  • Credential PDFs now support multiple languages based on issuer-supported locales.
  • New locale parameter in credential generation APIs.
  • Dynamic loading of localized labels in the final PDF.
  • Fall-back mechanism for unsupported locales ensures seamless user experience.

Bug Fixes Updates
Inji Web v0.12.0 includes important bug fixes for better usability and performance.
