Thank you for following up on my integration progress. However, I am experiencing an issue that requires your assistance before I can proceed further.
Issue Summary: I am unable to retrieve the address field from the eSignet UserInfo endpoint, despite properly configuring my OAuth request to include address scope and claims.
Current Implementation Details:
Authorization Request:
- Scope:
"openid profile email phone address" - Claims parameter:
{
āuserinfoā: {
āgiven_nameā: {āessentialā: true},
āphone_numberā: {āessentialā: false},
āemailā: {āessentialā: true},
āpictureā: {āessentialā: false},
āgenderā: {āessentialā: false},
ābirthdateā: {āessentialā: false},
āaddressā: {āessentialā: false}
},
āid_tokenā: {}
}
Current UserInfo Response Fields: The UserInfo endpoint returns only these fields:
[
āsubā,
ābirthdateā,
āgenderā,
ānameā,
āphone_numberā,
āemailā,
āpictureā,
āindividual_idā
]
Please let me know if you need any additional information about my implementation or configuration.
Hi @AHAMED_FAHSNI ,
Let us check and get back to you.
Hi @AHAMED_FAHSNI ,
Iād like to understand more about your user creation process. Could you please answer the following questions?
-
How are you creating new users?
-
Do you include an address field during user creation?
-
If so, what language is used for the address data? Address information can be multilingual. If a
claims_localein the request doesnāt match the language of the stored address, then address property shouldnāt be returned?Thanks & Regards
Zeeshan
Thank you for your message.
Currently, I am creating new users through the Self-Registration Portal provided by MOSIP:
https://self-register.collab.mosip.net/
Regarding your questions:
-
User creation: The portal is used to register and generate new users.
-
Address field: Yes, the portal does allow entering an address during registration.
-
Language for address: The address data is entered in English. At this point, I am not handling multilingual address data myself. Based on my understanding, if a
claims_localein the request doesnāt match the language of the stored address, then theaddressproperty will not be returned.
Please let me know if youād like me to run a specific test case or share an example response.
Best regards,
Ahamed Fahsni
