Dear Community Users,
We are pleased to announce the latest patch release of Registration Processor 1.2.1.3 & ID Repository 1.2.3.0
This release focuses on resolving critical functional and security issues to further strengthen system reliability, data integrity, and resident identity protection. This update addresses email handle validation for special character support and introduces stricter biometric update verification to prevent unauthorized identity modifications.
Key Highlights
Improved Handle Creation Validation β Email handles containing underscores (_) are now processed correctly, in line with the default identity schema regex. This ensures successful registration and storage in the credential transaction table.
Strengthened Biometric Update Security β Additional validation has been introduced to ensure biometric updates can only be performed for the authenticated residentβs own UIN. The biometric reference returned from ABIS is now cross-verified with the UIN provided in the request before processing.
Enhanced Reliability & Safeguards β These fixes improve operational consistency while helping prevent potential identity misuse or unauthorized updates.
Note
:
Schema Update Included β This release includes a schema change. Users adopting this version must update the schema accordingly. Please refer to the release notes for the updated schema details.
We extend our sincere appreciation to our dedicated team and the community for your continued support, valuable feedback, and collaboration. Your contributions continue to help us build a secure, scalable, and inclusive digital identity ecosystem.
For a complete overview of this release, including schema update instructions, please refer to the release notes.
