Dear MOSIP Community,
We are excited to announce the release of Inji Web Wallet v0.13.0, a major developer-focused release that introduces Identity Provider (IDP) based login, empowering users to access their credentials with ease using their Google account.
This release also brings in enhanced OpenID4VCI compliance, an improved user interface, stronger session handling, tighter security controls, and a host of bug fixes and known issue documentation to improve reliability and user experience.
What’s New in Inji Web Wallet v0.13.0?
Login with Google
For the first time, Inji Web allows federated login using a Google account.
Once authenticated, users can:
- Download credentials issued to them
- Store and manage them under the Stored Cards section
- Access a seamless session experience without manual token exchanges
This is a major step toward enabling frictionless onboarding and real-world usability of Inji Web.
Key Feature Enhancements
- OAuth 2.0 and token-based authentication flows added for IDP login.
- Database schemas created for session management and credential metadata tracking.
- Multiple new APIs to support login, token validation, session expiry, and credential retrieval.
- OpenID4VCI enhancements — including proper
c_nonce,token_type, and error messaging. - Improved UI/UX with responsive layouts, localized text, and mobile support.
- Security improvements — cryptographic randomness updates and hardened containers.
- Expanded test automation for login, passcode, and credential download flows.
