Release Announcement: Inji Web Wallet v0.13.0 is here!

Dear MOSIP Community,

We are excited to announce the release of Inji Web Wallet v0.13.0, a major developer-focused release that introduces Identity Provider (IDP) based login, empowering users to access their credentials with ease using their Google account.

This release also brings in enhanced OpenID4VCI compliance, an improved user interface, stronger session handling, tighter security controls, and a host of bug fixes and known issue documentation to improve reliability and user experience.

What’s New in Inji Web Wallet v0.13.0?

Login with Google

For the first time, Inji Web allows federated login using a Google account.
Once authenticated, users can:

  • Download credentials issued to them
  • Store and manage them under the Stored Cards section
  • Access a seamless session experience without manual token exchanges

This is a major step toward enabling frictionless onboarding and real-world usability of Inji Web.

Key Feature Enhancements

  • OAuth 2.0 and token-based authentication flows added for IDP login.
  • Database schemas created for session management and credential metadata tracking.
  • Multiple new APIs to support login, token validation, session expiry, and credential retrieval.
  • OpenID4VCI enhancements — including proper c_nonce, token_type, and error messaging.
  • Improved UI/UX with responsive layouts, localized text, and mobile support.
  • Security improvements — cryptographic randomness updates and hardened containers.
  • Expanded test automation for login, passcode, and credential download flows.

Hello MOSIP team,

We are a team building interoperability-focused digital identity infrastructure in the Asia region.
Currently, we are running a PoC in Korea to enable foreign-based wallets to seamlessly access services in the local ecosystem, and we are already testing compatibility with several European wallet providers.

We are very interested in integrating MOSIP’s Inji Wallet into our infrastructure to expand interoperability.
Would it be possible to start a conversation about potential technical collaboration and integration steps?

Thank you!

Hi @yeomjaegyeong

Thank you for reaching out, and apologies for the delay in responding to your community post had unfortunately landed in our spam folder, and we’ve just pulled it out.

Your work on interoperability-focused digital identity infrastructure in the Asia region sounds very relevant, especially the PoC in Korea and your ongoing tests with European wallet providers. We’re glad to hear about your interest in integrating MOSIP’s Inji Wallet into your infrastructure.

We’d be happy to start a conversation on potential technical collaboration and explore the steps for integration. Could you share a bit more on the specific use cases you have in mind for Inji Wallet within your PoC? That will help us guide you better on the technical pathways and the right next steps for collaboration.

Looking forward to your response.

Best regards,
Sanchi
