We are thrilled to announce the release of Inji Verify v0.16.0! :tada:

This version introduces the revocation feature, multi-lingual support, SVG Rendering, and MOSIP UIN VC Verification.

Key Highlights of v0.16.0

New Features:

  1. Revocation: Inji Verify supports real-time revocation checks using the W3C BitString Status List 2021. If a citizen’s credential is revoked for any reason, Inji Verify displays a new Revoked status. During verification, it reads the credentialStatus, fetches and validates the issuer’s Status List Credential, and determines whether the VC is valid, revoked, suspended, or invalid.
  2. Multi-Lingual Support: Inji Verify allows credentials and verification results to be viewed in multiple languages. It auto-detects the browser language (defaulting to English) and displays all VC claims, metadata, and outcomes accordingly. Users can switch languages without affecting verification results or credential layout.
  3. SVG Rendering: Inji Verify renders Verifiable Credentials using SVG templates, preserving the original design, layout, fonts, and branding. Verification results (Valid/Invalid/Expired) are overlaid seamlessly. The system also supports QR code uploads in SVG and compatible formats, with improved error handling, consistent UI, and accessibility compliance.
  4. MOSIP UIN VC Verification: Inji Verify fully supports verification of MOSIP-issued UIN Verifiable Credentials. It automatically decodes the UIN VC, validates cryptographic proofs, checks revocation status, and displays clear verification outcomes while maintaining the credential’s original design—enabling secure, interoperable identity verification across the MOSIP ecosystem.

With these updates, Inji Verify continues to evolve, offering more secure, adaptable, and user-friendly credential verification solutions.
