This release brings powerful new capabilities for credential issuance, revocation, and cryptographic flexibility—continuing to strengthen interoperability and adaptability for verifiable credential (VC) ecosystems. With support for emerging standards like SD-JWT, enhanced DID binding options, and draft revocation mechanisms, Certify is evolving to meet the growing demands of trusted digital identity solutions.
Key Highlights
Support for SD-JWT (Draft) – Enables issuance of credentials with selective disclosure, enhancing privacy and interoperability across wallets.
Dynamic VC Configuration – Allows issuers to define and manage credential types via API, providing flexibility for diverse issuance scenarios.
Revocation Capability (Draft) – Introduces mechanisms for marking credentials as revoked, ensuring verifiers can check credential status.
Expanded DID Binding – Adds support for
did:key
and did:web
with automated kid
generation, making SD-JWT issuance easier.
Advanced Cryptography & Data Integrity – Includes ECC R1 (P-256) curve support and W3C Data Integrity proofs for stronger credential authenticity.
