Dear MOSIP Community,
In our ongoing efforts to standardise the naming conventions across all Inji repositories, we have observed that the default branch for the mimoto and inji-wallet repositories is currently named main , while all other repositories use master as the default branch.
To ensure consistency, we will be renaming the default branch from main to master for the mimoto and inji-wallet repositories.
This change will take effect on January 15, 2025. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this transition.

Dear Community Members,
This is a reminder about the upcoming change to the default branch in the mimoto and inji-wallet repositories.
The change will take effect on January 15, 2025. After the update, we recommend following these steps to synchronize the repositories:
- When you access a forked repository and refresh the page, a popup will appear with the message: “The default branch on the parent repository has been renamed!” and an “Ok, got it” button. This will give you the option to rename the branch in your forked repository, with a link to the branch settings.
- Go to the branch settings and rename the branch from
main to master.
- After renaming the branch, navigate to the Code tab. Another popup will appear with instructions for terminal commands to complete the process. These steps will look like:
If you are using the MOSIP repositories directly and do not have a forked repository, you only need to follow step 3.
