CBEFF Format & raw image

Hi,
I have a query on the CBEFF format (https://docs.mosip.io/1.2.0/biometrics/cbeff-xml).
These are :

  1. Will the CBEFF XML allow multiple entries for biometrics records for face, fingerprint, etc and each representing a different BDB ?

  2. Does the CBEFF XML contain the raw representation like BMP Or some canonical representation other than biometric templates / segments?

    I am trying to understand this from a perspective of how to upgrade or migrate ABIS BDB if the CBEFF only has older templates.

    Ans. Yes it is allowed

  2. Does the CBEFF XML contain the raw representation like BMP Or some canonical representation other than biometric templates/segments?

    Ans. Right now only allowed BDB values is ISO containing JP2000(all 3 modalities) and wsq(finger)

  3. I am trying to understand this from the perspective of how to upgrade or migrate ABIS BDB if the CBEFF only has older templates.

    Ans. You need to convert to JP2000(all 3 modalities) and wsq(finger) before using.
