# Inji - Updates!

Dear Community Members,

This is a reminder about the upcoming change to the default branch in the **mimoto** and **inji-wallet** repositories.

The change will take effect on January 15, 2025. After the update, we recommend following these steps to synchronize the repositories:

1. When you access a forked repository and refresh the page, a popup will appear with the message: _“The default branch on the parent repository has been renamed!”_ and an _“Ok, got it”_ button. This will give you the option to rename the branch in your forked repository, with a link to the branch settings.
2. Go to the branch settings and rename the branch from `main` to `master`.
3. After renaming the branch, navigate to the _Code_ tab. Another popup will appear with instructions for terminal commands to complete the process. These steps will look like:

If you are using the MOSIP repositories directly and do not have a forked repository, you only need to follow step 3.
